Blown & Hot Sculpted Glass, Multimedia
Madison Kopsa is a multimedia artist who specializes in hot-sculpted and blown glass. Inspired by her experiences as a woman and mother, she utilizes the glass medium to convey stories to the viewer. Madison believes story is just as, if not more important, than the aesthetic alone. Madison's first experience with hot glass was in Cedar Rapids, Iowa in 2013 and has completely grasped her attention since.
Marking the beginning of her career, 2016 offered her first artist residency in Tennessee at the Firehall Glass Studio under Mark Russel. In 2018, Madison was awarded the AACG visionary scholarship for a sculpting class at the Corning Museum of Glass in New York. She has had her creations showcased in countless exhibitions along with work experience at a range of studios across Iowa and Arizona.
While currently employed out of a studio in Scottsdale, AZ. Madison simultaneously focuses on perfecting the dreams of her intellectual property.
