Born and raised in Los Angeles, CA., Marissa has called Phoenix home for 30 years. Her work is inspired by her colorful garden and our surrounding desert flora. Of late, her work depicts images from recent travels to Norway where Marissa spent some years studying art and textiles in the 80's. Marissa is an elementary art educator in the Cartwright School District and is a member of the Five15 Arts collective and the Arizona Print Group.
